About the design
Marcus paints mostly oils on canvas in vivid styles.
The design approach for this art website is one of simplicity. Greyscale variations are used in order to allow the colourful artwork to stand out without distraction.
In addition to the thumbnail galleries Marcus wanted to show some of his artwork ‘in context’. So we digitally framed and superimposed some selected paintings onto suitable photographic backdrops. Then we set them up as a slider on his home page. Enjoy!
